AAB have been granted Considerate Construction Scheme Membership.
The CCS was formed in 1997 as a non-profit making organisation by the construction industry, its aim is to improve how the construction industry is viewed and to encourage as many companies, construction sites and suppliers operate to their ‘Code of Considerate’ practice.
AAB have always been committed to high levels of customer service and interaction, so when we were asked by one of our valued customer to join the CCS scheme ahead of their ‘Ultra Site’ registration we jumped at the chance. AAB’s Sandstone Weathered Buff had already been selected for ‘The Ultra Site’ and suppliers were asked to join along with all sub-contractors. The aim of ‘Ultra Sites’ is to encourage not only the main contractor but all parties involved in the construction to operate under the Code of Considerate Practice, ensuring that all parties affected by the construction experience and professional and considerate approach.
Membership with CCS is an important recognition of AAB's efforts to work with both customers and suppliers in a professional and considerate manner, not only ensuring a quality product but an all round service.
We would like to thank CCS for their time during the assessment process, their kind review of our business and the constructive observations. We look forward to continuing to develop our business and working with CCS in the coming years.
