Owers House - Award Winning Potential

AAB and Daas Baksteen are very excited to have been involved in the Owers House Project, designed by John Pardy Architects.

The project is currently short listed for the RIBA Regional Awards, a prestigious recognition that JPA have previously won in 2001, 2009, 2011 and 2013.

Whilst JPA used the Daas Baksteen Birchridge sparingly in their design it creates a striking contrast against the chosen glazing and timber facades. Our personal favourite feature of the JPA’s brick specification is its use both internally and externally using different coloured mortars for each application, demonstrating the importance and impact of mortar selection as part of the brick choice.
